Spanning many mediums and subject matter, Adrienne’s artwork develops from a foundation of freedom. It is an organic process in which she creates by working in collaboration with her materials rather than in command. The process exceeds the importance of the piece and she is guided by mistakes and roadblocks; using them as an opportunity to learn the potential of the materials and herself. Adrienne is heavily inspired by nature both in outcome and process and prefers to say that she “grows” her art rather than creates it.

View fullsize Thaw Winter brings us over into the new year. Life goes dormant, It is resting, Waiting for the sun to warm the ground again. As the ground thaws soon seeds will start to grow. Roots reach down deep so the sprout can grow tall up towards the sun.
